The Last Holdouts.

These two baby Green Tree Pythons that hatched in my incubator on May 22nd have refused ALL efforts to get them feeding. Most of their siblings are over 20 grams but these two are still pretty small because they would not eat on their own and have been subsisting on force-fed pink-mouse heads (force-feeding those is as gross as it sounds… but necessary).

I put a Hyla cinerea in with each of these two and No. 5 grabbed its within an hour.


















I checked an hour later and it was curled up with a full-belly!

No. 1 took its frog a little later in the evening.

45 minutes showed this snake’s 1st voluntary full-belly!
