Green Tree Python drinking from her coils.
This is my 10 year old Wamena female drinking from her coils tonight. They will all drink from a bowl but I don’t think they like to stretch down to do it. It’s important to make sure they stay hydrated … Continue reading

Wamena locality Green Tree Pythons
What’s the deal? These snakes were cycled and the female is off feed… but they would rather sit around instead of making some eggs. CB 2007 female in the back and a CB 2003 male up front.
CB ’03 Wamena male… this snake is just wild looking.
I bought this snake as a young adult in 2006. At that time he was just pure, solid green. He has changed over the years and is now a subtle – but stunning – snake to look at. A lot … Continue reading

Settling on — the importance of time.
I received a pair of CB 2007 (Bushmaster) Wamena locality Green Tree Pythons in mid-January of this year. Until last week they basically would not eat. Both are eating frozen-thawed mice — a couple at a time — now but … Continue reading
